23. The Mirror of Erised
Dumbledore: [whilst looking at the mirror] Yes. And no. It shows us nothing more or less than the deepest most desperate desires of our hearts. Now you, Harry, who have never known your family, you see them standing beside you. But remember this, Harry. This mirror gives us neither knowledge or truth. Men have wasted away in front of it. Even gone mad. That is why tomorrow it will be moved to a new home. And I must ask you not to go looking for it again. It does not do to dwell on dreams, Harry, and forget to live. [Harry looks back at the mirror, knowing that Dumbledore is right.]
It does not do to dwell on dreams, Harry, and forget to live.
' Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi.' ‘I show not your face, but your heart’s desire,’ 즉, 네 얼굴(현실)이 아니라 네 소망(환상)을 보여준다고.
24. Nobert
Harry: Uh, Hagrid, what exactly is that?
Hagrid: That? It's a... it's, um...
Ron: I know what that is! But, Hagrid, how did you get one?
Hagrid: I won it. Off a stranger I met down at a pub. Seemed quite glad to be rid of it, as a matter of fact.
Seemed quite glad to be rid of it, as a matter of fact.
McGonagall: [sternly] Nothing, I repeat, nothing gives a student the right to walk about the school at night. Therefore, as punishment for your actions, 50 points will be taken.
Harry: 50?!
McGonagall: Each. [Harry gasps] And to ensure it doesn't happen again, all four of you will receive detention.
[Malfoy nods, then his smile vanishes with great concern.]
Draco: Excuse me, Professor, perhaps I heard you wrong. I thought you said the four of us.
McGonagall: No, you heard me correctly, Mr. Malfoy. You see, honorable as your intentions were, you too were out of bed after hours. You will join your classmates in detention.
And to ensure it doesn't happen again, all four of you will receive detention.
25. The Forbidden Forest
Filch: Oh, for God's sake, pull yourself together, man. You're going into the Forest, after all. Got to have your wits about you.
Draco: The Forest? I thought that was a joke! We can't go in there. Students aren't allowed. And there are... [a howl sounds] ...werewolves!
Filch: There's more than werewolves in those trees, lad. You can be sure of that. [Draco looks frightened.] Nighty-night. [He leaves to go back into the castle]
Hagrid: Right. Let's go.
Got to have your wits about you.
26. Up to Something
Harry: This stranger, though, you and he must have talked.
Hagrid: Well, he wanted to know what sort of creatures I looked after. I told 'im. I said, "After Fluffy, a dragon's gonna be no problem."
Harry: Did he seem interested in Fluffy?
Hagrid: Well, o' course he was interested in Fluffy. How often do yeh come across a three-headed dog, even if yer in the trade? But I told 'im. I said... I said, "The trick with any beast is to know how to calm 'im. Take Fluffy, for example. Jus' play him a bit o' music and he falls straight to sleep." I shouldn't have told you that. [The Trio runs off] Where're you goin'? Wait?
Jus' play him a bit o' music and he falls straight to sleep
Just play him a bit of music and he falls straight to sleep
jus가 누굴까?
Snape: Good afternoon. Now, what would three young Gryffindors such as yourselves be doing inside on a day like this?[The three of them jump and quickly turn around.]
Hermione: Uh, w-w-w... we-we were just-
Snape: You ought to be careful. People will think you're... up to something. [Walks away]
Hermione: Now what do we do?
Harry: [With a determined look] We go down the trapdoor. Tonight.
Now, what would three young Gryffindors such as yourselves be doing inside on a day like this?
People will think you're... up to something.
up to something : 무슨 일에 착수하다는 뜻입니다.
27. Through the Trapdoor
Harry: Trevor.
Ron: Trevor, shh, go! You shouldn't be here!
Neville: [appears behind a chair] Neither should you. You're sneaking out again, aren't you?
Harry: Now, Neville, listen. We were-
Neville: No! I won't let you! [stands] You'll get Gryffindor into trouble again! I-I'll fight you. [Neville holds out his fists.]
Hermione: Neville, I'm really, really sorry about this.[takes out wand] Petrificus Totalus.
You're sneaking out again, aren't you?
sneaking : 남몰래 은밀히
sneaking out : 몰래 나가다
28. Wizard's Chess
