George : I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.
Harry : 'Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs are proud to present The Marauder's Map'...?
George : Ah... Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs. We owe them so much.
Harry : Hang on. This is Hogwarts! And that... No. Is that really...

The Marauder's Map
해리포터 위키에 따르면,
The Marauder's Map is a magical document that reveals all of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Not only does it show every classroom, every hallway, and every corner of the castle, but it also shows every inch of the grounds, as well as all the secret passages that are hidden within its walls and the location of every person in the grounds, portrayed by a dot. It is also capable of accurately identifying each person, and is not fooled by animagi, polyjuice potions, or invisibility cloaks; even the Hogwarts ghosts are not exempted from this. The Map's only possible flaw lies in the fact that it cannot differentiate people who bear similar names (the shared names aren't given a Junior or Senior at the end). It can also reveal secret passages the Marauders found, though it only did this on one known occasion (in his third year, Harry Potter was shown how to use the statue of the humpbacked witch to enter Hogsmeade Village).

장난 관리?로 직역되는데. Quora에 검색해보니, 'These words are generally used to end any conversation or to denote the finish of a work done just like any project or any job that is very tough and it ends with magical joy and laughs.'로 사용된다네요.
재밌는 장난/일을 마루지 지으면서 사용하는것 같습니다.
17. Who's There? ~ 18. I Hope He Finds Me
호그스미드까지 와서 괴롭히는 말포이를 혼내주면서 해리가 자연스럽게 합류하고, 시리우스 블랙과 해리포터의 관계가 밝혀집니다.
Rosmerta : Come on then. Let's hear it.
Mcgonagall : Years ago, when Harry Potter's parents were marked for death, they went into hiding. Few knew where they were. One who did was black. And he told...
Rosmerta : You-Know-Who. I've heard this rot. It was all over The Daily Prophet back in the day. And I'll say now what I said then: Of all the boys I ran out of here, Black's the last who would've gone over to the dark side. Hearsay. That's all the Ministry had. Hearsay.
Fudge : Ha! Tell that to Peter Pettigrew!
Rosmerta : Peter Pettigrew?
Mcgonagall : Little lump of a boy? Always tagging after Black and...
Rosmerta : I remember him. What's he got to do with it?
Mcgonagall : After the Potters were killed, Pettigrew went looking for Black. And, unfortunately... found him.
Fudge : Black was vicious. He didn't kill Pettigrew. He destroyed him. A finger. That's all that was left. A finger -- there's your hearsay. Rosmerta looks to McGonagall. She nods grimly.
Mcgonagall : Sirius Black may not have put his hands to the Potters, but he's the reason they're dead. And now he wants to finish what he started.

Lupin : But in order for it to work, you must think of a memory. And not just any. This memory needs to be a very happy one. And powerful (Harry thinks a bit. Then... nods.)

You'd have given your father a run for his money.
run for thier mony라는 표현은 경마에서 유래되었다고 합니다. 직역하면 '그들의 돈을 위해서 뛴다'가 되겠죠.
전체 문장을 직역하면, '너는 너의 아버지에게 그의 돈을 받기 위해서 뛰었을 것이다'라고 됩니다. 아주 이상하죠
영영으로 검색해 보면 'If you say that someone could give someone else a run for their money, you mean you think they are almost as good as the other person.'로 해석이 가능합니다.
따라서 영화 자막에서는 '아빠를 닮아 실력이 대단하구나'로 해석했네요.
20. Seeing the Impossible
불가능한 것을 보다..?! 호그와트 비밀지도를 통해 피터 패티그루가 움직이는 것을 발견하고 쫓아가지만...
SNAPE Potter. What're you doing wandering the corridors at night?
HARRY I was... I was... sleepwalking... (A sneer curdles the corners of Snape's lips.)

SNAPE Turn out your pockets. (Harry doesn't move, eyes still boring into Snape.)

Strutting: walking pompously; pompous. (약간 비속어 같네요. 영화에선 '활개 치고 다니다'로 했습니다.)
Lupin : I don't know how this map came to be in your possession, Harry, but I'm astounded that you didn't turn it in. Did you ever stop to think that this -- in the hands of Sirius Black -- is a map to you? ( Harry walks silently. Lupin can barely contain his anger.)
Lupin : Your father didn't set much store by rules either. But he and your mother did give their lives to save yours. Gambling their sacrifice by walking about the castle unprotected, with a killer on the loose, strikes me as a poor way to repay them. I won't cover up for you again, Harry. (Lupin enters his office, tosses the map on his desk, and begins to sort through some papers. Harry lingers briefly in the doorway, absently eyes the WAXING MOON that glimmers beyond the window, then starts to turn away. Stops.)
Lupin : Do you hear me?
Harry : Yes sir
Lupin : I want you to return to your dormitory and stay there. now. And don't take any detours. (As Harry looks back, Lupin taps the map.) if you do, I shall know.
Harry : Professor. Just so you know, I don't think the map always works. Earlier on, it showed someone in the castle. Someone I know to be dead.
Lupin : (only half-listening) oh really? And who was that be?
Harry : Peter Pettigrew.( Lupin hesitates ever-so-slightly, then returns to his papers.)
Lupin : That's not impossible.
astounded : 경악한, 매우 놀란, 큰 충격을 받은
WAXING MOON : 상현달, 차 가는 달
detours : 돌아가는 길, 우회로
대화가 조금 빠르기도 하고, 차오르는 달에 루핀 교수님이 서둘러 해리 보내시 든 것도 인상 깊어서 넣었습니다.
21. Professor Trelawney's Prediction
Hermione : Do you mind me trying? The grim, possibly
Trelawney : (eyes narrowing) My dear, from the moment you stepped foot in my class, I sensed that you did not possess the proper spirit for the noble art of Divination. Now you see there. You may be young in years, but the heart that beats beneath your bosom is as shriveled as an old maid's, your soul as dry as the pages of the books to which you so desperately cleave.

Trelawney : He will return tonight.... Harry stiffens. Trelawney's voice is eerily HOLLOW.

Hagrid: [as he and Harry look out the window at Buckbeak] Oh, look at him. Loves the smell of the trees when the wind blows through ‘em.
Harry: Why don’t we just set him free?
Hagrid: [wishing he could, but knows that he can’t] They’d know it was me, and then Dumbledore would get into trouble. He’s coming down, you know, Dumbledore. Says he wants to be with me when they... when it happens. [walking away from the window] Great man, Dumbledore. Great man. [Hagrid’s flobberworm squeals; he throws it a piece of food, which it eats in one bite]
Hermione: We’ll stay with you, too, Hagrid.
Hagrid: You’ll do no such thing! [points at the window] Think I want you seeing something like that? No! You just drink your tea and be off. Oh. Before you do, Ron... [he picks up a plastic container and opens it and pulls Scabbers out]
Ron: [overjoyed to see his rat alive] Scabbers. You’re alive! [takes Scabbers from Hagrid]
Hagrid: You want to keep a closer eye on your pets, Ron.
Hermione: [as Ron turns around] I think that means you owe someone an apology.
Ron: Right. Next time I see Crookshanks, I’ll let him know.
Hermione: I meant me. [suddenly, the vase on the table breaks]
Hagrid: Blimey. What was that? [Hermione looks closely and finds a small rock with a snail shell pattern on it]
Harry: [a rock hits him in the back of the head] Ow. [he turns around and looks out the window] Hagrid. [beckoning Hagrid to the window]
Hagrid: [walking to the window and looking out] Oh, crikey. [Fudge, Dumbledore, and Macnair are walking towards Hagrid’s house, talking; Fudge glances at Buckbeak as he goes]
